2025: Support Merch for a Cause!

Each year in honor of John’s birthday, we release new additions to our memorial shop. This year’s lineup includes new hats, a fresh shirt design, a new patch, and a redesigned memorial band featuring his call sign – “Ball.” 

Thanks to your support, the memorial shop raised nearly $5,000 last year, with every dollar going directly to Capt Sax Scholarship recipients. Because each item is donated for fundraising purposes, 100% of the purchase price supports aviation scholarships, and nothing else.

When you see someone wearing one of these items, know they’re carrying John’s legacy forward and fueling our mission to honor him – and for that, we’re deeply grateful.

We’re also incredibly thankful to the vendors who make this possible by producing items at such significant discounts, allowing John’s wife to purchase and donate them to the foundation each year for scholarship funding.
