Splash 3 Aviation Scholarship Program
Are you under 18, living in Southern Arizona, and dreaming of a future in aviation? This opportunity is for you.
The Capt Sax Foundation is proud to announce a dedicated scholarship opportunity for students across Southern Arizona. Thanks to a generous $20,000 grant from the Splash 3 Foundation, we are able to provide flight training funds to help young people begin their aviation journey.
We are deeply grateful to the Splash 3 Foundation for providing this grant in honor of Capt John J. Sax. For many students, the cost of flight training can feel overwhelming at the very beginning. From introductory lessons to private pilot certificate training, financial barriers often determine whether a dream moves forward or gets delayed.
This partnership allows us to continue John Sax’s legacy of mentorship and service by helping students take their first steps into aviation.

Students not selected for the Splash 3 grant award will automatically be considered for a Capt Sax Foundation scholarship through our general fund.
